Risen is a single-player fantasy-themed action role-playing game by the German company Piranha Bytes, and published by Deep Silver. Piranha Bytes itself developed the Windows version, which was released on October 2, 2009, along with the European version of the Xbox 360 port.The Xbox 360 port was outsourced to an experienced external console team under the close supervision of Piranha Bytes.

 Plot:

Risen takes place in Faranga, a fictitious volcanic, mediterranean island with different sub-climates and vegetation zones. The island is inhabited by humans, as well as many fantastic creatures. Recently, ancient temple ruins have risen from the ground, providing access to a network of interconnected underground areas such as catacombs and dungeons. As a result, the humans have put in place an Inquisition, forbidding anyone from exiting their city or the island.In the intro cinematic the player's main, nameless character and a gypsy named Sara can be seen sneaking around on a small ship in the middle of stormy seas. As they get to deck, they see the Inquisitor, calling out to a Titan in the seas. The giant Titan rises through the waves, shrieking at the Inquisitor. The Inquisitor tries to battle the creature, but he realizes that the battle is lost and teleports off of the boat. Seconds later the Titan smashes the boat into little bits, sending Sara and the unnamed protagonist into the depths. The player character wakes up on the shores of Faranga in the midst of the storm, surrounded by dead bodies. Both he and Sara are unharmed.

Storyline:

 The antagonists in Homefront were originally intended to be Chinese, but were later replaced by North Koreans for two reasons: a possible backlash by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and the reality of economic interdependence between America and China that made the Chinese "not that scary". Said Tae Kim, a former CIA field agent on the game's backstory, and a consultant: "we went to a very rigorous, academic research process to make sure to not only look at North Korea's current state but to look at historical examples how things could parallel and turn events. History repeats itself. From today to the day the invasion starts in the game, if you combine everything, the odds are very very slim this becomes true. But when you look at the storyline step by step, every step is a coin flip but a plausible step. So once you get there, it's plausible. And from there the next step is plausible as well. Even though the whole thing is fictional, it comes with plausible baby steps."The finalized version of Homefront's timeline was released at end of January 2011.

Risk: Factions is a downloadable video game for Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade service and PlayStation 3's PlayStation Network. The game was announced on January 12, 2010 for Xbox 360 and December 21, 2010 for PlayStation 3. It is based on Hasbro's popular board game, Risk The game has both single player and online modes of play. The single player campaign is divided into 5 chapters. Each chapter unlocks one of the games 5 factions. The gameplay in the single player campaign is similar to that of the 2008 Risk rule set. Players must complete three objectives and have control of their capital to win the game. Alternatively, a player may defeat all the opponents to win the game as well. The features added to RISK: Factions that don't appear in the 2008 rule set are overkills, faction abilities, and dynamic terrain. Overkills are awarded when players roll either two or three 6s. If a player rolls 2 sixes he destroys four of the opponent's units in the current battle. If a player rolls 3 sixes he destroys all units in the current battle.

 Factions:

• Humans - Leader: General William P. "Fatty" McGutterpants - A jingoistic American sounding general. Is always seen with his pet dog.
• Cats - Leader: Generalissimo Meow - A hispanic sounding cat dressed like Mao Zedong. Launches an attack on the Humans after a mortar is accidentally dropped on his country and McGutterpants refused to apologize.
• Robots - Leader: Commandant SixFour - An untested automated defense system built by the Humans. Unfortunately, due to its obsolete technology it is incapable of distinguishing friend from foe and declares war on the rest of the factions. His name is a reference to the Commodore 64.
• Zombies - Leader: Colonel Claus Von Stiffenberg - A hook and eyepatch wearing zombie who declares war on the other factions after being attacked by the Humans. Like the rest of the faction, he was presumably either an ordinary human or a revived corpse, mutated by an experimental bioweapon launched by Commandant SixFour. His name is a reference to Claus von Stauffenberg.
• Yeti - Leader: His Excellency Gary - A buddhist-like Yeti Monk with a jovial attitude like the Dalai Lama. Ironically, he declares war after General McGutterpants asks his help to bring peace with the other factions.

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is a 2011 Lego game for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PC and 3DS consoles based on The Clone Wars animated series, developed by Traveller's Tales and published by LucasArts and TT Games, due for release in March 2011 and is the latest game of the Lego Star Wars video game series. Lego Star Wars III will feature missions and characters from the Clone Wars television series, as well as favourite characters from the original Star Wars saga, in both single-player and multiplayer gameplay modes.

Gameplay: 

Gameplay will be similar to previous titles in TT Games' Lego series, in which up to two players switch between different characters in order to fight enemies, solve puzzles, progress through various levels, and it introduces a few novelties, including scene swap, where players switch between teams in separate locations to complete multi-part objectives, and boss battles. The game will also feature some real-time strategy elements, such as commanding of large ground armies across battlefields. Also, the space fights have been remodelled to use a more instinctive, 3D-space battle sensation. It is set during the Clone Wars animated series, as well as certain scenes from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

 New Features:

Overall, the game engine used by previous Lego Star Wars games has been upgraded. It can now hold more than 200 moving units/objects on-screen. The graphics are more detailed than before, and the lighting has been improved to enhance the feeling of depth. New features include scenarios in which players can command large armies of clones to battle against droid armies, and Story Swap mode, in which players can switch between two characters in different areas whose stories run simultaneously. The game will include split screen combat. All new character features include lightsaber throwing, lightsaber slicing, picking up droids and stepping on certain pads in which Jedi do "combo moves" to destroy certain objects. Vehicle levels have been upgraded slightly: now, players can land their ship and begin fighting on foot. All the original elements seen in previous Lego Star Wars games have returned. The hub has also been changed, taking place in a Republic Cruiser named the Resolute, allowing the characters to explore all the parts of the Star Wars galaxy.
